Episode 091: Book Study: 12 Rules For Life – Part II

Today we continue our journey into Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life.  Our focus for this episode will be centered primarily around chapters 1-2.

When the ‘awakening’ occurs, that is when life becomes more interaction based, we become more in tune with our life’s purpose.  Humans cannot fully grasp the totality of the power that we have as it relates to our limitless potential. The last hundred years is a solid representation of this potential when you stop to recognize the advances we’ve made in medicine, travel, technology, etc.    It’s truly mind-boggling to say the least.

To tap into change we need to see life for the seriousness it entails and respond to it through serious self-introspection. With that, we begin to stand up to the principles we employ to show up in this life.   This is how we present ourselves to the world and the responsibility we have in creating our best selves.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • Why we do the things we do and how light and darkness play into your purpose
  • Suffering is a self-regulating principle that tells us we can always do better
  • How conscious choice and decisions frame your world that lives amongst the knowledgeable chaos
