Have you ever woken up one day and asked yourself — “What the f*** happened to my life?”
If you answer honestly, I’m sure you have. Believe me, it’s happened to me on more than one occasion.
Whether it was being sucked through a dam, being stuck on a dock working myself to the bone, or having millions embezzled early on in my business, these moments caused me to take a long hard look at where I was going and what I needed to do to move forward.
Everybody is going to have these moments in life, many in fact, but how you handle them defines the direction you will take.
First things first, every situation just is. Meaning, the more emotion you bring to the experience the more you focus on the bad things around you. If you come from the idea that everything just is, which essentially means going opposite human nature and not assigning meaning to that thing, you are able to take a step back and look at it more clearly.
When something is going wrong, it infects your thinking and you label it as bad. This commands your mind and reinforces the bad that is in your life.
This is not to say that bad things won’t happen, but looking at what went wrong helps move you forward with new strategies to correct the behavior.
